Delta Bravo Urban Exploration Team ... watch for it ...

About

Urban Exploring
Mission
Explore More.
Description
Urban exploration (often shortened as urbex or UE) is the examination of the normally unseen or off-limits parts of urban areas or industrial facilities.[1] Urban exploration is also commonly referred to as infiltration, although some people consider infiltration to be more closely associated with the exploration of active or inhabited sites. It may also be referred to as draining (when exploring drains) urban spelunking, urban rock climbing, urban caving, or building hacking.

Delta Bravo Team's definition of Urban Exploration is also to include the visiting and documentation of what we consider culturally relevant sites such as film, television, Music and true crime locations, or any other iconic landmark locations we feel are worthy of exploration. We currently have members in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Brooklyn, New York.

House Of Pain - 1996 Australian interview

Old but new to me, I really love Everlast speaking on Professor Griff from Public Enemy. I love Public Enemy, but some of what Griff says is counter productive. Maybe he forgets a lot of support and album sales came from white kids, and do not forget you did a song with Anthrax.
Whatever the case, I am sure that is all over with and all has moved forward.

I had no idea DJ Lethal and Limp Bizkit were done...here is some of his new stuff.

How did I miss this, Lethal is on my facebook, I pretty much get shit loads of news feeds. I post stuff here before sometimes Yahoo or google news has it... and I missed this.
I was never much of a L.B. fan, but they were a huge hit and did some really big stuff.
Lethal is going forward with his own music and the first taste of it is right here called "Scream the metal"
He posted on twitter that the sound will be "Metal with dubstep and hip hop"
All the best to LETHAL...

Im still up in the air, cuz 20 years ago you said "Jump around"

Being a hip hop kid since the mid 80s, I could really never identify with everything in hip hop.  I can remember trading my Grandmaster flash album for the Beasties boy License to ill cuz my parents refuswd to buy it for me.
Then in high school, these dudes were going on about House Of Pain, irish rappers. I hated on it right away because I though it was another stereo M.C.'s type deal. A few hours I was at home and heard Jump around for the 1st time, ran into the basement and asked "Who are thses guys?"
I was pretty much a die hard fan after that, and they sorta molded me and gave me something to related to.
I started rocking flannel, grew a goatee, shaved my head and it made me respect my Scottish / irish roots even more so.
I feel old... 20 years!!!

Cheaters, biters, love to forge...

Nothing I hate worse when someone takes a design of another artist and claims it as their own.
I came across a design on this guy facebook wall about a year ago that was a total rip off of the a clothing line from L.A. called DISSIZIT. This guy and I were pals in public school and he is a big HIP HOP DJ in Toronto now, he did not design it, he had someone design it for him not knowing of this obvious bite. I was only looking out for my friend, who is to say DISSIZIT comes after him, because he was going to use it for promotion use I believe. I actually found the guy who put it togther and he claimed that they stole it off him.

REALLY...

I am not boasting but I am connected... and I talk to a lot of people. It took me no more then hour to get in contact with SLICK (the owner) of DISSIZIT. I sent him the pics, and the guys facebook page. All if it was down with before the afternoon.

Anyone who knows me and my musical taste, I am a big HOUSE OF PAIN fan, ever since 92. Social media sites are good to keep up to date with what your favorite artists are up and I follow these guys. I keep up to date on concerts, new videos, and side projects. Dannyboy has a very popular clothing line called "HELLFIRE CANYON CLUB", very interesting and stuff I like to wear.
Not knocking him or his line, but I do not think he is making enough money off this to live comfortably yet. Still it is making moves and the clothing is all uphill, I see guys like Apathy rocking them in his videos and even OBEYS Shepherd Farley has been photographed sporting a HELLFIRE Tee.
I am not a fan of Ed Hardy, Tapout, Extreme Couture and Affliction... not saying who wears them are all douche bags, but those brands are primarily worn by douche bags. Not to mention they are EXTREMELY TACKY...
A few weeks back Dannyboy posted a picture of a total rip off of his shirt, the guilty party was AFFLICTION. You guys are making shit loads of cash, the UFC is so popular and shit loads of these fans are buying one of the brands I mentioned above. Yet you feel the need to steal a design off someone else's design  and essentially take money out of his pocket.
I made this and posted it...
What kinda dirt is that...

I met this guy named Michael Cestra who runs his own line B-TOWN AKA GUERILLA, he does it all and is a very hard worker. I had the chance to listen to him speak about the in's and out's of this business. It was a eye opener to say the least.
He sent me this not to long ago... I need to share.
Well here's the story.  I set out this year to push my brand, and get into the eye's of the mass.  Keep in mind I'm a one-man-show, designing, creating, printing, and just doing everything that would involve a team of people in the game (streetwear).  I've sent packages out to who I think could give me a little boost/attention on the internet.  One pack was sent to L.A. to a streetwear giant a couple weeks ago.  I have a list of clothing lines/sites I run through on the net, just to see what the others are doing out there.  And I found this yesterday, see attached link, THE HUNDREDS.  I found a quote similar to mine, mine is "Hurting The Best, Poising The Rest", theirs "You've Had The Rest, Now Try The Best",... it could be coincidence.  I believe some artist/creators are on the same wave length, it's just a little weird.  I'll just leave it up to the mass on the decision who got it out first.  My design was printed up in January, them,.. they just released their summer line.

Then we got this...

Not the design but the slogan sounds like someone got some ideas from Mikes slogan.

Congrats Mike, B-TOWN up in weSEWsick...

Or in my case, I have owned Fine Malt lyrics on vinyl, tape, and CD several times. I bought the Jerky boys and the EDDIE soundtrack just to get one HOUSE OF PAIN song. This was waaay the fuck before downloading for free.

New Everlast single..."I GET BY"

Been a die hard fan ever since his black and white video of "Syndication" I did not reference that from wikipedia or youtube... I have been a legit fan forever.
When the family bought our first computer, one of the 1st things I looked up was HOUSE OF PAIN and lucked out with the best site... Joes pub. This is where I found out they broke up, and that Everlast was doing a solo album.
I bought every album, even after downloading it for free... its a guilt thing. I have to support artist I love musically, I think it is morally the right thing to do. I bought every House of pain album, more then once... so why change it up and not keep supporting the stuff you love.

This song is killer... BUY the album ya cheap bastards, cough it up!!

Talkin kicks with Danny boy O'connor

My 2 cents...
I was more of a hat guy, and even as a hat guy I was not even close to the serious collectors. I think once I had about 150 hats in my collection, everything from Xlarge,  Vans, Ezekiel, to different styles of kangols. I always like my hats to be simple, no big flashy logos and shit like that. Having a account with flexfit hats keeps me fully stocked at all times. So I do understand the fascination and the thrill of the hunt and the rare finds. If anything now I scour the city and find ridiculous deals on clothing, thats my thing. I recent found Volcom hoodie close to 130 bucks which I score for 20 bones... deals!
As for shoes, I have always been on the fence about the whole culture behind it and the constant chase to nab them up. I also find it hard to score size 13s... when I do find a pair, it is hard not to pass it up.
I like my shoes simple, I have my favs like Adidas shell toes, Adidas Sam smiths (which he mentions), Vans always were cool with me, I use to rock airwalks like crazy now they are sold in payless and thats wack. I always stayed away from Nike, only because my grandmother and her friends all wore cross trainers, that didn't fly with me. I though british Knights were pretty wack also.
I think the last crazy sneaker I bought was the Adidas x dissizit... and they are out there for me.
I am the opposite from the sneaker fiends, I like my shoes scuffed up... not to the point where they are falling apart and look dirty, just the worn look. Some people like crisp ironed jeans... I like my jeans faded with the worn look.
Anyways... enjoy, dude is well versed in the realm of kicks!
