Rather than being a large body of work split among two albums, Chuck D said the albums have distinct messages and themes individually.
“They’re twins, fraternal twins—not identical, but they will talk to each other,” he said.
Public Enemy can be seen on May 27 at the Movement Electronic Music Festival in Detroit, Mich., and on July 6 in Gdynia, Poland playing the Heineken Open’er Festival.
