"According to earlier reports, the fight took place at around 4 a.m. Thursday at the nightclub W.I.P in SoHo. Brown, who later posted pictures of a cut, apparently had sent Drake’s table a bottle of champagne as a peace offering earlier in the night. Both men have romantic histories with singer Rihanna, which has led to speculation of bad blood between the two.
Drake is believed to have sent a nasty note back to Brown’s table in response, and then walked over to his table, punched him and thrown a bottle at Brown. According to the NYPD, five people were injured in the brawl and no arrests were made. The two pop stars had left the scene by the time cops arrived."
